Top 5 Finalist Teams Announced for Next Gen Tech 360 2023-24 Competition 

Clearwater, FL – February 17, 2024 – Connect-IT 360 is excited to announce the top 5 finalist teams for the Next Gen Tech 360 (NGT 360) 2023-24 competition, marking a significant milestone in this season’s journey. These innovative teams, composed of talented students from Hillsborough and Pinellas County schools, will compete for the coveted $10,000 award and a 30-minute business pitch opportunity with Kevin Harrington, a renowned entrepreneur featured on the hit television series Shark Tank. 

The current NGT 360 season, which commenced on September 30, 2023, started with 31 teams and a total of 125 students from local schools. This unique initiative provides high school students with real-world skills and startup experience guided by expert mentors from industry across the Tampa Bay area. As part of this transformative journey, finalists not only gain invaluable experience but also earn an internationally recognized Certified Project Officer (CPO) certification. Furthermore, students commit to honing their fundraising and marketing skills by pledging to raise $500 each to help support the program’s initiatives. Meet the 2023-24 NGT 360 Finalist Teams 

College Knowledge – Sophomores at Strawberry Crest High School 

Esha Morar, Rhea Morar, Stuti Patel, Sahana Saiganesh, and Vaidehi Tyagi are developing College Knowledge, a platform to connect high schoolers to college students to receive first hand insights into the college experience to help maximize the chances of getting into their dream colleges.

Cultural Insights – Freshmen at Strawberry Crest High School 

Tanishka Aglave, Komal Brahmankaar, and Aashi Shrivastava are developing Cultural Insights, an app to help teen immigrants navigate through the challenges of assimilating into American society by leveraging AI to assist in everyday life and education. 

New2Fit – Juniors at Palm Harbor University High School 

Ajitesh Busireddy, Leonard Seto Jr., and Ryan Qu are developing New2Fit, a fitness app for beginners, featuring personalized workout plans, AI-driven form correction, a gym locator, and community chat. 

Shelf Sense – Juniors at Palm Harbor University High School 

Andrew Barkman, Trevor Foster, Harsith Kollipara, and Luke Leininger are developing Shelf Sense, a platform that utilizes AI camera technology to instantly inform users about supermarket product stock.

Teens Next Door – Juniors at Blake High School 

Zacharie Cobb, Dariel Rivera Jiménez, and Jordan Smith are developing Teens Next Door, an app that supports teen entrepreneurs on their entrepreneurial journey.

The finalists will showcase their remarkable talent at our Pre-Game event on February 26, 2024, at the Embar Collective in Tampa, Florida. Event Registration >
